Illinois State Board of Education-Get School Report Cards-This is the place to start gathering information about schools. Illinois has mandatory report cards that help you evaluate and compare schools.

National/Local school comparisons and statistics - One of the best sites I have ever found for comparing schools locally and nationally. This is a very comprehensive site.

Illinois Elementary School Association - Information about topics other than academics such as sports and performance arts on the elementary school level

Illinois High School Association - Information about topics other than academics such as sports and performance arts on the secondary school level.

Illinois High Schools - This site has links to just about every Illinois High School.

Illinois Community Colleges -  This site has links to Illinois' outstanding community colleges.

State Universities in Illinois - This site has links to all the state colleges and universities.

Chicago Area Independent Schools - This is a good place to start if you are looking for a private school.

Illinois School Special Education Information - This site has information about special education in Illinois from the Illinois Board of Education.
